Guest RVDmark Report post Posted November 25, 2003 In the early stages of TNA, these guys were hilarious and had decent wrestling ability. Why weren't they brought back and where are they now?
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted November 25, 2003 Lane got hurt pretty early in their stint. By the time they were a team again I think TNA was less than thrilled with their inring work. Bruce especially had the whole Miss. TNA thing hanging over their head.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 Lane got hurt pretty early in their stint. By the time they were a team again I think TNA was less than thrilled with their inring work. Bruce especially had the whole Miss. TNA thing hanging over their head. Bruce (aka Kwee Wee, Angry Alan Funk, The Funkster) got seriously injured overseas when Sonny Siaki messed up a moonsault and drove his knees into Funk's face. I'm talking broken orbital bone, blood everywhere, etc. Lane I haven't heard from since he came in during Kwee Wee's Bruce stint. And WTF happened to Lodi? Is he back to working Georgia indies, like Dusty's promotion?
Guest bigdunn20 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 Simple: Lane's work has vastly detiriorated.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted November 25, 2003 I thought Funk's injury was a more recent thing. The last I think that Lane was seen was during a Tag Title match during Fall of last year.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted November 25, 2003 I talked to Lenny on IM several months ago and he said he still does misc. indy work. Although I'm not sure why anyone would want to hire him, after his crappy stint in TNA...
Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted November 26, 2003 Lenny has been working Minnesota indy feds, but I haven't seen him around lately.

Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 I enjoyed their unique method of making tags. care to elaborate? Their whole gimmick was they're gay. They had Joel Gertner as their manager. When they'd make a tag, the guy outside the ring would extend his hand, and the guy inside the ring would kiss it. West would go crazy about how sick it was, and Ferrera would say there's nothing wrong with it. I got a big kick out of it.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2003 I still think Alan Funk (Bruce) always gets a bad rap in any promotion he's in. How bad is it when the best gimmick you've been given was KweeWee (which was actually a solid gimmick towards the end of WCW, when they made it clear that KweeWee was just effeminate and would SNAP~!~! on anybody that insulted him in any way)? That said, I hope that I can see Alan back in TNA one day as just himself. He does the best Hulk Hogan impression I've ever seen, and DOES have plenty of charisma, as well as being a solid in-ring worker. Heh...know what team I think would be very, very good? Alan Funk and Val Venis. Similar styles, looks, etc.
