I'm not a huge fan of the new CD though.

I dunno... it seems to me that Britney easily has more staying power than Christina.

 

I mean look at the great pop singers over the last few years (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion) they had their moments and then faded into relative obscurity, I've no reason to believe Aguilera will be any different. The shelf life for pop stars as viable mainstream celebrities is always pretty short, Madonna proving to be an enigma. Though I attribute her career longevity to good business decisions more than anything. Spears seems like she's got a better chance in that respect.

And let me just say, what the hell is wrong with people? It was Madonna for god sake! She could have banged Spears in the BUTT with a strap on and I wouldn't have been shocked.

 

Christina has a better voice and she has proved she can sing ANY style she wants, from hip hop to pop to slow beats. She seems to be growing here lately although I liked her better with the blonde hair than now. Still like her in the sense I give her credit for her voice but I don't have any of her songs.

 

Pink it seems is falling down, which is a shame cause when she tries she has a decent voice.

 

As for Mariah...well, she USED to be able to sing. I don't know what the hell happened to her. Oh I know, surgery and suddenly her voice fell apart. It's coming back though but she is already done.
