Browns will be cake...Niners are beatable but it's the Rams at the dome that seal our fate. I can't trust Pitts, Cleveland and Oakland of all teams to do us a solid. Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Local Pats 5th Quarter show(post-game) said that the Pats knew when they would run and when they would pass on the goaline stand due to the Right Tackle's stance. During runs he would just lean on his hand while during passing plays he would be light on his fingertips. Also Manning slapping his ass gave it away to some players too. I guess watching videotape that much does help
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 this Redskins/Saints game had been horrible. Chad Morton just returned the kick for a TD and its 14-10 Redskins..

Come to think about it, being a New York Sports fan in general has sucked for a couple of years now. damn Stanley Cup, damn Eastern Conference championship...what an awful year. Huh? New York Teams haven't won the Stanley Cup since 94 and 83. I don't actively root for or against the devils unless both The Rangers and Isles have blown it (So I guess i was somewhat satisfied with Hockey) And I don't follow basketball, but I know enough to know the Knicks sucked (Yay!) and the Nets blew it. Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2003 Speaking of Milwaukee this is like the worst season the Packers have had in years, and I'm lovin' it. (ba da ba ba baaaa) Not quite. Their "worst" season in the last decade was the lone Ray Rhodes season when they went 8-8 (gasp!) and missed the playoffs, and Rhodes got dumped after that (amidst allegations of the 'R' word). Slayer 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 1998: missed playoffs 1999: I forgot 2000: I forgot '98: Made first round, lost to the 49ers on literally a last-second pass from Steve Young to Garrison Hearst (it was f'king beautiful) '99 was the aforementioned Rhodes season, no playoffs. '00 was Sherman's first year and no playoffs there either you're right on all the others

Now I know I'm a perfectionist or whatever... You don't have to tell us twice but am I the only one who thinks that 8-8 isn't exactly ideal? Admittedly, yes, especially since he was taking over the squad Holmgren made a playoff (and Super Bowl) staple, but it just tends to be very rare to dump a head coach after only one season unless they do really bad (0-3 wins maybe?) On top of that, there were running allegations that Rhodes was fired because he was black, and while I don't like to sound like KKK's two favorite people, it could make sense, given how Green Bay the city is I think it might have just been the shock of Holmgren departing so quickly along with adjusting to a brand new system that caused the drop (they didn't do much better next year with Sherman), but that's just me
