Guest Jimbo Report post Posted December 1, 2003 yeah, Raven is in a tough situation...one one hand, he's the USAPro champ, but I would think RoH would be sorta anxious to have him at their anniversary show, considering he has been part of one the biggest fueds in RoH this past year. Same with Corino, but he (I don't think) has as big a role in USAPro, or atleast not yet, as Raven...

JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 Steve Corino is MLW Heavyweight Champion, Simon Diamond is one-half of the MLW Tag Champions, and Sonjay Dutt is MLW Jr. Heavyweight Champion, so they would probably choose MLW. 2/14 may be MLW's Global Tag Carnival. Guest OSIcon Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I don't think it should be too big of a deal. Most of the ROH guys that also work MLW will most likely work the ROH show. I can't see guys like Punk, Daniels, and Homicide chosing to work MLW over ROH. I don't think Raven is working for MLW anymore, so it comes down to USA Pro and ROH for him. Since he is USA Pro champ and not on every single ROH show, I would imagine he'll work the Pro show. Corino is the only guy who works for all three. If I had to guess I would say he'll work the MLW show since he is their champion and all. Sonjay will probably have to chose between MLW and USA Pro, too. I would think Deranged would work USA Pro since he can be fairly easily replaced with any of the other dozen Special K members. There really aren't any other conflicts besides those. MLW will probably be "hurt" the most since they will almost certainly be missing Daniels, Punk, Homicide, and any others I am forgetting which make up a solid chunk of their mid card. They'll still have more then enough people to run an okay show (as long as Corino is there and doesn't stick to his USA Pro booking).

USA Pro cant compete with them. I doubt MLW will draw more that 200 or 300 either. ROH will blow them out attendence wise.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2003 I would think Deranged would work USA Pro since he can be fairly easily replaced with any of the other dozen Special K members. Deranged is suspended from ROH for no-showing a show, even though it wasn't his fault (his ride to the show never came). He'll work USA Pro, definitely, since that's his only chance. And ya, it appears Raven is out of MLW, so he'll be choosing between USA Pro or ROH.

Deranged is back on the Dec 27th ROH show. He was not used for a couple shots and is being brought back...happens all the time in indy wrestling. All is well. However, a majority of the NYC Doghouse and other indy guys that aren't at the top of ROH cards usually work USA Pro shows when both run shows the same night to begin with and work it out with the two promotions (as ROH uses USA Pro's license when running New York to begin with). Guest OSIcon Report post Posted December 1, 2003 What Rob said. I know he was suspended but ROH said he will be back at the 12/27 show. Still, I would be surprised if he worked ROH over USA Pro. The pay has to be somewhat similiar and when faced with being in a singles match or a scramble, I would think he would chose the high profile match (which will most likely be in USA Pro). I bet he works ROH. Plus most fans would want too go to either ROH or MLW. Yea, he works for ROH but he also works for the other two promotions. Plus he is USA Pro Champion and already signed for their event. I don't think Raven's ties to ROH are so strong that he would miss a title defense he is already scheduled for in USA Pro just to be at the ROH show. Plus most fans would want too go to either ROH or MLW. USA Pro cant compete with them. I doubt MLW will draw more that 200 or 300 either. ROH will blow them out attendence wise. I don't doubt this, but I don't see how that would really factor into what show Raven decides to work.

I just think there is a slight chance since RF has given him alot. I guess.. Yeah, I should of started a new paragraph for the attendence thing. My bad. LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2003 Corino confirmed on his web site that he'll be taking the MLW booking on 1/10, instead of the NWA-FL booking.
