EdwardKnoxII Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Am I the only one that LOVED Jericho carrying around two big belts. He just seemed so important with those two belts around his shoulders. Like something out of Japan.
ChrisMWaters Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Am I the only one that LOVED Jericho carrying around two big belts. He just seemed so important with those two belts around his shoulders. Like something out of Japan. I just didn't like the fact it was two belts representing one title. THat just seemed wonky to me. I could see him carrying around the new version of the WWF title, as well as the big gold belt and previous version, saying something along the lines of "These are my property now, so i can carry them if I damn well please." Plus, it lead to Trips carrying both for a while.
Garth Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I actually was into the two belts as well, just because it made his entrance so damn cool, with the whole extend one arm with one belt in it, etend other arm with other belt in it.

Yeah it was. Hell I know fans that were digging Jericho just because he had two big belts instead of one.
Guest ligerbomb03 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I loved seeing Jericho with the two big belts, it was such an awesome sight.
Brett Favre Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 I loved seeing Jericho with the two big belts, it was such an awesome sight. HHH: Me NO LIKE! ME TAKE AWAY!

EdwardKnoxII Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 QUOTE (RavishingRickRudo @ Dec 9 2003, 01:26 PM) It would have been even better had those 2 wins been CLEAN. No it would have been better if Jericho would have been built up leading into the PPV instead of getting bitch slapped all the time. Hell I remember the RAW or SD right before the PPV Jericho jobbed in a tag match to Austin. I guess the thinking was that since Jericho keeps getting beat fans won't think he has a chance in hell of winning the belts. Which was right cause alot of people didn't buy into Jericho being the champ.
cawthon777 Posted December 9, 2003 Report Posted December 9, 2003 Hell I remember the RAW or SD right before the PPV Jericho jobbed in a tag match to Austin. Jericho lost to Austin clean on the Raw prior, in a non-title match ... then on SD, he tapped to Rock's Sharpshooter in the tag match. I'm confused though. I already posted this in the first "Today in WWE History" thread of the day. Now we get two?

Yeah now I remember. Cause when I watched them I thought they was no in hell Jericho is leaving with the belt the way he's getting treated. And I think alot of the net thought so to. I mean Jericho TAPPED to the Rock's Sharpshooter. How often does that happen?
