JJMc Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 Every time I try to download a fie from IRC, it says its about to be sent, but then it says I cant recieve it because the "file type is ignored." Even when I turn off the firewall, it still won't work. Anybody at all?
Guest Scotsman Posted December 12, 2003 Report Posted December 12, 2003 I have not used mIRC in a loooooong time, so I'm not sure how to help, but from memory, I remember there was an option to ignore certain file types(ie: exe files). Check in your File/Options or whatever, and look around for DCC send. There whould be a screen where you choose whether to auto-accept files and whatnot, and to choose file types
JJMc Posted December 13, 2003 Author Report Posted December 13, 2003 Nope, same fuckin' thing happened. Anyone else? This is pissing me off. I finally learned how to use IRC after like 2 years of trying and when I learn it doesn't work...bah. -JM
JJMc Posted December 13, 2003 Author Report Posted December 13, 2003 Ok, here's a screen of what happened. I waited in a queue for over an hour only to have this happen.
Guest sean pyro Posted December 17, 2003 Report Posted December 17, 2003 mIRC Options > DCC > Ignore > Method: Disabled > Uncheck ignore back on in:
