The Miss South Carolina Organization presents Professional Wrestling the way it was meant to be... The way we remember it. Step back in time with us as we showcase some of the greatest mat legends to have ever graced a Carolina arena!

 

It will definitely be a night of Beauty and the Beasts as our current Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen hold court while our Wrestling Legends wage war!

So, are any of you guys even close enough to check this show out? I know I'll be heading up there for it more than likely, this sounds fan-f'n-tastic. Here is a post someone made over at WC, with more information...

 

I saw this posted on Kayfabe Memories – sounds like this is going to be an awesome show! Wild animals, beauty queens, and wrestling! What a combination! Saturday night February 21, 2004 at the Spartanburg Auditorium – I’ve got many childhood memories of that wrestling in that place. I’ll definitely be there.

 

The event is being put together by the Miss South Carolina Organization. The wrestling card is not totally complete because they are still confirming a few names. The ones posted will be in attendance and the ones officially scheduled to wrestle thus far are as follows:

 

Rock 'N Roll Express

George South

Masked Superstar

Jimmy Valiant

Assasin

 

Tommy Young will be refereeing at least one match (main event probably)

 

The Barbarian and Paul Jones are scheduled. Both have 99% confirmed, and that is why their names are not officially listed until they give 100% confirmation.

 

They are trying to recapture the feel of yesteryear by using the old ring lights and having Scooter Leslie as ring announcer.

 

I am hearing that the Miss SC pageant is really doing it up right, having red carpet, plaque ceremony, limos... the works! I've been told that if all goes well this year, they plan to make this an annual event, with each year getting bigger and better. This year they are fishing to see what the interest is.

 

I've also heard that the current Miss SC will be involved in an angle.

 

...I can't wait for this!
