Guest TheCrowCall

I just tried to PM you this message three times, but it's not working, so I figured I would post it.

Hey there,

I talked to you through PM a while ago because I am very interested in your Best of Monday Night RAW compilation. You asked me for a match-listing of my "Best of WCW: 1989-1993" tape and the dates of the episodes of WCW Nitro that I have. I finally got around to typing them up (very sorry about the wait) and here they are:

Take care, talk to you later.

Might as well reply here since PM's suck and are too much of a bother.

II like the idea of a Raw comp. for a Nitro comp. A fair trade and we both get what we want(some matches I really want on there).

I'll check for match listings on some sites and PM you a list.

You ok with that?

Thanks very much for repying to my PM/post so quickly. That sounds very sweet about the RAW comp. for the Nitro comp. It's more than fine with me, but the only thing is that I get out of school for a month on this Friday, so I wouldn't be able to start on the compilation any earlier than this weekend...hope that's not a problem.

Also, just off the top of my head, this is what I would recommend from those Nitros:

3/22/99: Spring Break Nitro: Ric Flair vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.

3/29/99: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nitro: This show has the promo from Bret Hart where he calls out Goldberg, and has the segment where he pins Goldberg in 5 seconds and then "quits" WCW...very awesome segment, definitely one of Bret's top WCW moments. This show also has a great Chris Jericho promo where he butters up the crowd (and they cheer him), followed by him dissing the crowd and them booing him instantly after, funny promo.

4/19/99: This show has an awesome 4-man Cruiserweight Title Match between Rey Mysterio Jr, Blitzkrieg, Juventued Guerrera, and Psycosis. Very sweet match that gets alot of time.

3/26/01: Last WCW Nitro: Pretty much everything on this show rocks, outside of one match.

Also, if you would be interested in putting any of the matches that I have on my "Best of WCW TV 2001" compilation, on this Nitro compilation, that would be more than fine too. Here is a match-listing of that tape:

WCW Greatest TV Matches 2001

1. Rey Mysterio Jr./Kidman vs. Lance Storm/Elix Skipper

(WCW Thunder, 1/10/01)

(WCW Nitro, 1/15/01)

3. Kidman vs. Mike Awesome

(WCW Thunder, 1/17/01)

(WCW Nitro, 1/23/01)

5. Kwee Wee segment (Kwee Wee beats up current CWF Heavyweight Champion, Madd Maxx)

(WCW Nitro, 1/23/01)

6. Cruiserweight Contender Countdown: Shane Helms vs. Elix Skipper vs. Evan Karagious vs. Kidman vs. Yang vs. Jamie Noble vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Lash LeRoux vs. Shannon Moore vs. Kaz Hayashi

Why bother with PM when we have a post. Take your time since I won't be able to do it till next week either.

Matches I want:

Rey/Flair - 3/22/99

Cruiser 4 Way - 4/19/99

Flair/Sting - 4/12/99

Styles & Paris/Skipper & Romeo - 3/5/01

Storm & Skipper/Kidman & Rey - 1/10/01

Raven & Saturn/Rey & Kidman - 4/5/99

Flair/Bischoff - 12/28/98(assuming it works)

Bret/Sting Brawl - 10/5/98

and the whole 3/29/99 Nitro(with the Bret & Jericho speeches)

Tell me if that's ok.

PS: I was so saddened when none of those shows had DDP/Sting, lol. Damn I wnat that match.

Awesome, sounds great. I forgot to tell you this before, but I can only record in SP and SLP on my VCR when copying, and I just wanted to make sure that you don't mind if I make this Nitro compilation in SLP tape speed. Also, how long do you think the entire tape will be, do you think a 6 hour tape will be enough, or should I copy it on an 8 hour tape in SLP speed, just in case?

Also, do you mind me keeping the commercials in the entire episode of the 3/29/99 Nitro, or would you want me to edit them out? Just wanna ask ahead of time, but either way is fine with me.

A third question is, do you want me to put the matches and segments on the comp. in the order you have them listed, or in chronological order? Again, either way is fine, just figured I would ask now.

And for my final question, how is the quality of your RAW compilation when copied? Just curious and wanted to ask.

Take care, talk to you later, and thanks very much again.

Okie.

Tape SLP, SP whatever, it honestly makes no difference to me. Tape on EP if you want to save tape.

Keep commercials in, cutting them out is a hassle.

Chronologcial order would be best. So the brawl, then 3/22/99, then the whole 3/29 show etc.

Quality is near perfect. Flair/Hennig is theo nly match a bit lower quality(since its an original taped off TV in 93) but the rest is top notch.

You rock man, thanks very much about the SLP/EP speed and keeping the commercials in on the whole 3/29/99 Nitro.

Chronological order is more than fine with me, thanks for answering my question about that too.

I'll probably be making the compilation on an 8-hour tape, either Maxell or RCA. I still have to get the blank tape, but I plan to start early next week.

I am going away on the day after Christmas until December 30th, but I'll have the comp. tape finished and ready to send no later than January 3rd...is that okay with you?

Take care, and talk to you later.

I tried PMing this to you about three times earlier, but my PM's aren't being sent for some reason once again.

" Thanks very much for your patience, I appreciate it greatly!

Quick question for you: While I was watching the 3/22/99 Nitro for the Ric Flair vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. match, I saw that there is a Bret Hart promo/interview which sets up his match against Goldberg on the following Nitro...do you want me to add that promo to the compilation tape?

Also, do you want me to add the segment on the 3/22/99 Nitro that sets up the main event later in the show (Flair vs. Mysterio)?

Take care, talk to you later.

Hey Bif,

I live in New Jersey, but have no problem at all shipping to Canada.

I'm presently involved in two trades and have another one lined up after that, but I think I should be done in about two weeks time (around there) and I'd love to set up a trade with you then, if you still wanna. I'll let you know when I finish the trades I'm working on now.

Take care, talk to you later.

Hey there. I'm sorry that I haven't talked to you in a few days, so I just wanted to PM you and let you know how your compilation tape is going. I have all except the last two matches (Lance Storm and Elix Skipper vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. and Kidman; Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo vs. AJ Styles and Air Paris) finished on the Nitro compilation tape so far. I plan to finish the last two matches tonight and can have it labeled and ready to send in the mail tomorrow morning. If tomorrow isn't a good day for you to send the RAW compilation tape to me, just let me know what day is best and I'll send yours on that day too.

Also, I have a few quick questions:

1. What do you want me to label the tape as?

2. What mailing service do you use to send tapes from tape trades/sales? I always use Priority Mail and that seems to be the best service to me, the tape(s) always have arrived safe and fast.

3. Regarding our mailing addresses, do you want to exchange addresses over PM or e-mail? My e-mail address is: [email protected].

Again, thank you so much for being so patient with me, I appreciate it greatly.

Take care, and talk to you later.

Hey man. Don't worry about not getting the tape sent yesterday, it's no problem at all. I have no clue how much Express Mail costs, but if it costs more than Priority (which I believe it does), I'm more than fine with you sending the tape by Global Priority Mail. I don't want you to be paying a ton of money just so that our tapes both arrive on the same day. I'm in no huge hurry to get the tape that I would want you to pay extra money to have it here within a day or two. You were very patient and understanding with me when I was putting your tape together, I definitely don't mind waiting a few more days for my tape to arrive here.

Take care, and talk to you later.

Hey man. Thanks very much for sending my tape Express Mail, I appreciate that very much!

I would definitely like to trade sometime again in the future, as there are a couple more tapes on your website that I am interested in, but I'm not sure if you are interested in any more of my tapes. Just let me know in the future if you would want to set another trade up or not. Take care and I'll talk to you later.
