Details On Huge Ad Campaign For RAW

Recommended Posts

Escape the rules...

The theme of the huge ad campaign for RAW that WWE is launching will be "escape the rules." The thinking behind it is that RAW is a two hour escape where you can watch people do stuff that you could never do in real life.

The ads will run on TNT, TBS, Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly, and other AOL properties. The $2 million dollar ad campaign is again part of WWE's deal with AOL dating back to the WCW buyout. WWE agreed to buy millions worth of advertising on AOL properties.

So....people in real life don't have over the top egos? Well, thank god for that!

So new people can tune in, get bored, change the channel and escape the WWE.

I've actually seen one of these ads online. It said, "Look before you Leap" and showed Jericho doing a Lionsault. So, you should escape that rule. If you have AOL you can click search and type wrestling. At the results you may find an ad for this campaign. That's if you're interested. :bonk:
