Guest Sleekster Report post Posted December 24, 2003 It's WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY to early to dismiss the Rumble yet. I heard the Lesnar/Holly match was going to take place in a Alabama-hosted SD.
humongous2002 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2003 From Last Week: WWE gave Evolution all the gold at Armageddon as a way to push the babyface side of the RAW division. Giving all the belts to one heel group, in theory, gives the top faces something to rally around and go after. With Mick Foley and Steve Austin gone for now, the top faces seem to be Rob Van Dam, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, and possibly Chris Jericho. Ah, yes. Let's put Kane - the superface - into the title match. So let's see: The Raw Title Match has two heels facing each other - which typically doesn't work. And the Smackdown Title Match has a strong heel going against a face that nobody even cares about. Shit, I'm glad I didn't buy tickets to this thing.... And believe me from those 4 only HBK will be the one getting the push while the other 3 will play second bananas, who are they kidding with this bullshit. Gert T 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2003 I'm not even sold that Orton will be in the Rumble. Have an I-C title match, with the false finish like Shamrock-Rock '98. Of course Rock was in that Rumble too. And I haven't seen Raw in three weeks, so if he's already been announced disregard all of this.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2003 Something I noticed while watching RR03 the other day: Batista isn't eliminated. Taker pushes him through the middle rope, then Brock comes up from behind and pushes Taker over. Yes, he was. Undertaker clotheslined him over the top rope to eliminate him. Batista just got back into the ring with a chair only to get booted back out, which ended up costing the Undertaker yet another RR win. Or, since it's been 10 years, co winners. Cena, the much over face, (in Luger's spot) and Benoit, the very much over face from Canada, (in Bret's spot) do a double finish, they both go to WM to take on Brock Lesnar, the WWE Champion and the monster heel (in Yokozuna's spot).
