Guest champchavez Report post Posted December 24, 2003 Quick discussion: I don't regularly follow the indies, and I was wondering what the problem is between Low Ki and ROH? Thanks

Guest bort Report post Posted December 25, 2003 He made some bullshit excuse about not being able to make it to one of the shows, it is rumoured that he was gonna job to Homicide. I think Ki said he had to stay in japan on the date but that wasnt the truth. Low ki and homicide are gonna be wrestling at an MLW show soon and I expect Homicide to go over just to end the conterversy. I think the whole thing might be a work
Guest OSIcon Report post Posted December 25, 2003 Ki was scheduled to face Homicide at the 11/1 ROH show. The match had been promoted for over a month as the main event for the show. A week before the show, Ki posted on his website that he wouldn't be at the ROH show. ROH said seeing that on Ki's website was the first they had heard about it. The website message was changed to note that Low Ki would not be at the show because he would be extending his stay in Japan. He still hadn't contacted ROH directly about it. The Zero One tour was over a few days before 11/1 so the excuse didn't seem completely legit. 1wrestling reported that the initial plan was for Homicide to go over Low Ki on the show but then Ki suggested that they go to a 15 minute draw (a 15 minute main event that ends in a draw would be a pretty lousy match to blow off their feud). ROH announced that they wouldn't use Low Ki anymore after that.
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2003 Every time ROH and a wrestler have a miscommunication issue or whatever it sounds like something from a rap magazine or a soap opera. Their backstage happenings are more soapy than their storylines.
Guest champchavez Report post Posted December 25, 2003 ROH loves these 'shoot' angles don't they. Frankly ROH is pretty terrible at angles in general. There are some amazing talents on that roster, and I don't mind paying less attention to story details because wrestling is filled with meatheads (sorry gabe, but you're no better) who know nothing about telling a story, but you can't get guys over without character development. I mean over-over. I mean guys who can really draw. Can somebody send that to ROH.
Guest bort Report post Posted December 25, 2003 On Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer website, he lists a teaser for the new print issue, upcoming for next week's 12/29 cover date. He mentions the following--- " details on.....a former ROH star set to make a surprise appearance at the next show and expectations of the company's biggest crowd ever" Does this mean LOW kI......you never know credit rohboard
