I'm likely getting NCAA today, is there a site where I can find the current player names?

I have all the player names in Excel format.. just hit me up on AIM if you want them.

If you have a Sharkport or whatever the hell that thing is called, you can download a roster file that has the name of every player in D-1 for NCAA. It costs like 5 bucks to download, but it is definitely worth it.

My boss has the Sharkport to save files to his computer hard drive, so a bunch of us chipped in a buck each and shared it.

I like college football more than NFL football in real life, so for that reason alone, I lean towards the college game.

My favorite thing about NCAA is how they won't give you commentary for your game if it isn't big enough to be on TV.

Although when the commentary is on it can get pretty bad.

Ummm.. no. The commentary is some of the best in sporting games.

Lee Corso: "As long as you're moving the ball forward, you're doing pretty good."

Yeah, thanks for the insight coach. The commentary is good to start, but after you hear the same thing the 1,200th time it gets old.

I just don't like it when they commentate on something that has nothing to do with the game. Or is just plain dumb.

It's 1st and 10. I go for a run..no gain. Hmm...better go for a pass. Throw it....it's deflected. Hmm...tough defense. What does our old buddies say

"What's he doing!? He should try to run it! That pass was an embarassment."

WHAT!?
