fazzle Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 http://www.freaksandgeeks.com/dvd/index.html Dear friends, The DVD for "Freaks and Geeks" is finally coming out this April. It would not have happened without your support. So, thank you for coming through again. We will be making an official announcement in January. Here's what I can tell you now--fans who sign up on this list will be able to purchase a special limited edition collector's version of the "Freaks and Geeks" DVD. It will contain all of the episodes plus an eighty page yearbook filled with photos and fun stuff from the show, plus more extras than you can imagine. And when I say more than you can imagine, I mean it. We saved everything and will make all of it available to our hardcore fans only through this website and its mailing list. So sign up if you haven't already, and tell your friends about it as well. We will e-mail as soon as it is available. I have been working my arse off putting it together and I am really excited to get it out there for you to enjoy. So, that's the news for now. Our dream is alive EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *gasp* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Damaramu Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Yes! I love the episode where they play D&D. This was before I ever even touched the game. I had the "I'm to cool for that nerd shit" attitude. Then I saw this and was like "Actually that looks kind of fun." Then I was like "I guess I can try it." and then I played......and now I'm a full fledge NERD!
Downhome Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Thank God, it's one of my favorite shows ever. Now that I think about it, it seems that when I really get into a show, it just goes away.

Matt Young Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 The show was good from the little I saw, so I may buy this. However, I would much prefer a "Get Real" DVD set. That show was the best non-wrestling/sports/music series ever with the exception of Boy Meets World.
Vern Gagne Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Is it really worth making a DVD for a show that ran only one episode?
Matt Young Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 Get Real may not have been on the air for long, but they still had 22 hour long episodes.
Bruiser Chong Posted December 31, 2003 Report Posted December 31, 2003 that was the finale, I think In a way, yes, but in another way, no, since they ran two or three episodes one Saturday night in June or early July of 2000, which were the "true" last episodes.
fazzle Posted December 31, 2003 Author Report Posted December 31, 2003 But it was written as the finale, no matter which way they were aired. That'd be like saying Earshot was the real season 3 finale for Buffy.
