Downhome Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Before I say anything about it, I want to point one thing out really quick for anyone who might be thinking about getting it. The game still goes for $30-$40 on eBay, and it's said to be a very rare cart, but if any of you have any Sam's Clubs near you and have a membership, they have this rare, and great, game for only $13.84. I bought mine from there yesterday, and I might go pick up a couple more. I just thought I'd share that, as it's a great deal for a great game. This post is mainly just to share this deal with you, but I'll say a bit more also. Ok, like I said, I love this game. I really wish we could see more awesome 2D side scrollers like this one, as it's one of my favorite genres. This one is a mixture of the old Shinobi style ninja games with a great deal of Bionic Comando tossed in for extra gameplay goodness. There are 20 stages, different bosses for each level, etc... The graphics are great, the animations are very smooth, and it's just good oldschool fun. You have thee difficulity levels, and a time trial mode, so it has extra replay value right there. If any of you either haven't ever heard of it, or just haven't picked it up yet, I really give it my personal recomendation, I'm loving it. While I'm at it, keep your eye open for the new GBA game Gekido Advance: Kintaro's Revenge. It's already becoming one of my favorite GBA games, just check it out either by just buying it or test it out using the ROM. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
