Tawren Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Gorgeous George had some symphony tape play as he entered, something like that.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Gorgeous George had some symphony tape play as he entered, something like that. I'm pretty sure it was Pomp and Circumstance, which ended up being Savage's theme 25+ years later. And I'd bank on George as the answer.
WrestlingDeacon Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 We've discussed this many a time. The first modern use was JYD back in the very early eighties with Another One Bites the Dust. To go way back in the day, Gorgeous George would come out to pomp and circumstance for the rare television appearance just up the heat of his entrance more.
cawthon777 Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 I believe Gorgeous George is the answer but this thread on KM might shed some light on others - http://pub138.ezboard.com/fkayfabememories...icID=5295.topic
