WWE Smackdown Rating Drops Big On New Years

Not a surprise...

WWE Smackdown on 01/01/04 did a 2.8 rating with a 4 share, down from the 3.0 Christmas show last week.

First off, a 0.2 drop is a "big" drop?

Second, 1bob said that the last QH was the highest rated at a whopping 3.0 - meaning that the bump was a 'big' 0.2. This isn't an isolated incident either - it seems that RAW has viewers that will tune in and out frequently, causing the peaks and valleys, while SD has a viewership that usually sticks through the entire show.

SPONGEBOB!

Watch McMahon bring Spongebob in as a celebrity for WrestleMania XX.

They'll use him in a desparate attempt to get the still heatless Orton over before his Foley match.

It's New Year's. Who cares? Who the hell would be watching WWE during the holidays anyhow?

Well the Rose Bowl drew a pretty gigantic number.

So much that I even forgot about SD! while I was watching it.
