Guest Redhawk Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 I don't mean one-night-only teams (like Austin and The Rock), but actual teams that were around long enough to be recognized as a team on WWF television or might have gotten a title shot at some point. Only people I can think of are Kidman, Chavo, Tommy Dreamer, and Hugh Morrus.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 I'm assuming that you're not thinking back to wCw days. Well, of course, Brock hasn't tagged yet. I don't think that really counts though. Eddie Guerrero? I don't think he has. He tagged with Chyna once or twice but that shouldn't count. When he was w/ the Radicals, I don't think that it was ever just a two on two tag match, and if it was, it was a current event.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 Ric Flair? Ric Flair was NWA World Tag Team Champion along with Greg Valentine from 12-26-76 until 5-8-77 and again from 10-30-77 until 4-78 and then again with BlackJack Mulligan but only for a couple weeks on 8-8-79
Guest Singular Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 [Eddie Guerrero? I don't think he has. He tagged with Chyna once or twice but that shouldn't count. They were Los Gringos Locos and had the best tag match ever (IMO) on 11/6/94 in the 2/3 falls, double hair vs. double masks match against Octagon and El Hijo del Santo.
Guest Some Guy Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 On WWF the guys you listed haven't had teams. But Dreamer and Raven were ECW Tag Champs in 99 or 2000. Kurt Angle hasn't been a part of a real tag team that I can remeber, he had a couple tag matches with Benoit and Jericho and a few other 1 shot deals. The Tag belts are the only title he hasn't held.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted April 12, 2002 Report Posted April 12, 2002 Everybody has been in a tag team at soe point in their career. That's just one of the facts of life. Hell, Triple H and Saturn used to be a team during Triple H's Terra Ryzing days.
Guest Posted April 13, 2002 Report Posted April 13, 2002 At one point or another every wrestler did a tag match, just overbooking does that to people... better question would be what Tag team combo we haven't seen or would want to see.
Guest Redhawk Posted April 13, 2002 Report Posted April 13, 2002 I was just referring to tag teams in the WWF. I forgot about Angle. He's tagged with some people for one night only, but he's never really been part of a team. Eddie Guerrero/Chyna counts to me, since... 1) They had a name -- "Latino Heat" 2) They were given a couple title shots 3) They had their own entrance video 4) They were a stable on WWF-licensed video games I wouldn't count Flair, though, since he's not really a wrestler this time around.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 13, 2002 Report Posted April 13, 2002 Angle. I think the Megadorks are his only hope now. Maven and Snow beat Chuck and Billy, Jericho and Angle beat Maven and Snow.
