About changing settings in WindowsXP

Recommended Posts

Ok, I've only been using XP for like, less then a month, so I don't even know where to start looking for this.

My keyboard is weird. If I press the quotes key, the quotes won't show up until I press another key.

However, if I press the quotes key and then a vowel, I can get all sorts of fun stuff, like á, ä, Ï, and that kinda jazz.

I think it's obvious that my keyboard is set for some other language or nationality...but how do I change it back?

Any help is appreciated....

To change the language go into control panel. From there if you have category view (it'll look different then previous versions of control panel like in 98/ME etc) select date, time, language etc. Then select regional settings and language options. A window should pop up with the language options.

If you have control panel on classic view then just go to regional and language options. The same window as above will appear.

Hope this helps
