Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 (edited) Okay, I was searching the internet for photos and articles on the 2000 New Year's Eve Celebrations around the world, where I stumbled onto a site call Prophecy.Org. The site was created by a guy named Raymond Aguilera, who wrote a book called "Prophecies, Visions, Occurences, and Dreams". In the book, Raymond claims that God himself (or herself or itself), has been speaking through him since 1992. The book is filled with prophecies Aguillera claims God gave to him, of which there have been over 300. But the REALLY interesting part is that Aguilera claims that he has actual audio footage of God speaking through him. Yes, this man says he has the actual voice of God himself on tape. Now, I'm a tad bit skeptical in believing this one man has footage of God speaking, but to prove that he does, he has posted an audio clip of "God" speaking through him on his website. Here's Raymond Aguilera's testimony from Prophecy: The Prophecies in this Prophecy Book were typed from sound tapes, I recorded on my micro cassette tape recorder as the Lord spoke through me. Most were recorded during prayer on top of my bed, but not all. During the times I was asleep; the Lord would awaken me, and then He would begin to speak through my lips. It would happen so often back in 1992; that I got in the habit of just reaching next to me; picking up the tape recorder, and record the message, and then go back to sleep. There were many times, that I did not even remember what the Lord had said during the night or early morning hours until I listened to the recording the next day. For the Lord was giving me so much, and so fast during those times, and the spiritual warfare was so intense, that I had a hard time dealing with all the supernatural occurrences, let alone what was being said. Raymond Aguilera could have just used a voicebox, or some computer audio program to make his or someone else's voice sound the way it does in the clip of "God" speaking. This could all just be a hoax designed to sell his book, although this is certainly an extreme way of doing so. I guess this was the only way Raymond Aguillera could bring attention to his book. This just seems too much like a hoax. I doubt even the most devout Christian wouldn't be skeptical at first. Anyway, here is what Aguilera claims is undeniable proof that there is a god. You will need RealPlayer to hear "God" speak. Go to This Page on his website to hear an audio soundbyte of "God" reading excerpts from the Book of Revealations in the Bible. Also hear Raymond Aguilera do a voice test to prove that he did not disguise his voice to make him sound like God. The site also claims that you can hear "God" speak in Spanish and an unidentifiable language. So, what do you think? I personally think it is a hoax, but it is certainly interesting that a man would claim such a thing was true, even if it was just an attempt to gain some attention and sell some books. There is also a website that counts down to the day the world is supposely going to end. December 21, 2012, which is the date the world is going to end as supposely discovered in the Bible Codes. Hear the clips and post your comments, etc. Edited January 8, 2004 by The #1 MST3K Mark

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 Whoa.....God needs to back away from the mic a little bit. He's practically spitting on it. The sound clip was a bunch of ramblings anyway. "Blah blah...love each other....blah blah....something about screaming bodies...blah blah"

Guest Fook Report post Posted January 8, 2004 December 21, 2012? Wasn't that the date given in the X-Files series finale for the upcoming alien invasion?
Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 December 21, 2012 is also the date the Mayans predicted the world would end. Another creepy concidence is that in the Bible Codes, December 21, 2012 is the day when the world ends by an asteroid hitting the Earth. An asteroid was discovered heading towards the Earth with the date it was suppose to hit being....December 21, 2012. How's THAT for creepy? I take it December 21, 2012 is becoming the new "in" thing when it comes to figuring out the date for the end, just as January 1, 2000 was before. Then again, people WERE wrong about the world ending in 2000 being the end so....

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 1. Biblically there's no reason for God to operate in this fashion right now. Modern prophecy doesn't really operate the way Prophets used to. Jesus holds that office eternally. 2. The guy is either crazy and believes it and his intentions are good, or he's hoaxing for the money in which case there's a huge problem. Well, there's a problem either way. In my opinion, anyway. I can't think of any reason that God would suddenly begin speaking in this way again. Also, revealing the date for the end clearly goes against scripture. No one is supposed to know.

Ed Wood Caulfield 0 Report post Posted January 8, 2004 Now, is it just me or does "God" sound like either Mick Foley or Jake "The Snake" Roberts in the audio clip? I can't decide which. And doesn't he sound like the Undertaker in the beginning of the clip when he is speaking in tongues?
