So far the only features are "Voices From the List" featurette "Behind the Shoah Foundation With Steven Spielberg" featurette Widescreen anamorphic format Like I said, might be old news, but this is the first I've heard of it. I missed it in theaters (I was about 7 at the time), and the only times I knew about it being on TV were times where it would have commercials, and I'm not having any of that. When NBC bought the TV rights to the film, Spielberg put a clause in the contract saying that they could never cut it up and air it with commercials as well as them having to show it completely uncut. Hence the reason why they only showed it twice on NBC and why they had to get to get a big name sponsor to foot the bill for airing it without commercial breaks like they did.... Universal Studios Home Video has now officially announced the Region 1 DVD release of Schindler's List for the previously rumoured 9th March 2004. Arriving in separate Anamorphic Widescreen and Full Screen editions, each will be available in either Digipack or Armaray packaging carrying a retail price of $26.98. These sets will comprise of a single DVD-18 disc (double sided, dual layered) that offers the film in the versions respective video format with the following audio options: English DTS 5.1 Surround English, French and Spanish DD5.1 Surround English, French and Spanish subtitles Also confirmed for release is a Gift Set edition that features the Anamorphic Widescreen version of the film in a special box that also contains a Coffee Table Book, CD Soundtrack, Senitype, and Certificate of Authenticity for the retail price of $79.98. Released alongside Schindler’s List will be Broken Silence, a series of five documentaries produced by The Shoah Foundation in their effort to bring the testimonies of Holocaust survivors back to the communities in which they were collected, and to places where Holocaust educational resources are few. Five renowned filmmakers directed films based on Shoah Foundation testimonies for television broadcast in their own countries: Argentina, Russia, Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. With a total running time of 4 Hours 43 Minutes these documentaries take up a double sided disc (DVD-14) and are presented in their original Full Frame aspect ratio and language tracks (DD2.0 Stereo) with burnt in English subtitles and optional French/Spanish subtitle tracks.
