Guest NitroJMS Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I know I'm trying to rationalize WWE internal logic (a tough task), but did anyone else notice that the Dudleys saved Hurricane to attack Flair and Batista as part of their angle, but their "brother" is left for dead against Kane? Its these little things that really irritate me. So are we to rationalize that the titles mean more to them than Spike or am I just waaay over analyzing this one. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Maybe they don't like Spike anymore?
Guest JMA Report post Posted January 20, 2004 I noticed that. But, then again, I'm a smark.
Guest Fook Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Maybe they felt they didn't need to rescue Spike since the refs were doing such a bang up job.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Well, considering that they once put the guy through a flaming table, methinks that the Dudleys' relationship with Spike is flawed at best.
Guest hhheld_down Report post Posted January 20, 2004 maybe they didnt want to be destroyed by kane or some dumb shit reason like that
Mole 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Spike is moving to Smackdown, so they were pissed he was leaving. I don't think the Dudley's were saving the Hurricane, but more like trying to beat up Flair and Batista.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 (edited) I don't think the Dudley's were saving the Hurricane, but more like trying to beat up Flair and Batista. I thought that was sorta obvious. Speaking of Spike, Im guessing hes going to be replaced in the Rumble due to his injuries by the annual "surprise entrant", probably the Undertaker, which would kinda be stupid. I mean, enaK takes Spike Dudley out of the Rumble and conveniently Taker is there to replace him. enaK needs to have his "Damn, why'd I have to screw this up" look on his face when Taker shows up..if of course he does. Highland 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Marvin: Probably will be Taker...but I have to say this... I wish the guy in your signature was still alive, so HE could enter the Royal Rumble. And then we could all mark out as Lawler piles drives him again. It would be the only time I'd ever mark out for the King.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Back to the topic at hand, the little things like the Dudleys not helping Spike get to me too. Maybe it's something like Spike telling the Dudleys that "During matches, I want to do things on my own. Don't help me, no matter what." ...just a thought.
