Favre Drops Out of Pro Bowl

Recommended Posts

Favre dropped out of the Pro Bowl due to a broken thumb and will be replaced by Matt Hasselbeck. Well at least Hasselbeck got in after all but McNabb still has no reason to be in after a fairly average season and a horrible Championship game.

Payton also decided to not go to the Raiders so their back in the market for a coach.

Just heard on the radio that McNabb dropped out as well. He's going to be replaced by Marc Bulger.

The Pro Bowl is all about stats, and not victories or championships (which is why there's no Delhomme or Brady)

Favre never plays. Nobody cares about the game, they just want to make the team. Hasselbeck should have been on over McNabb anyways (like it or not Favre led the league in TD passes and deserved to be there).

As for Bulger being selected, what, did Jesse Palmer and Quincy Carter turn them down? Better check on Hasselbeck too, seeing as how highly thought of this game is, it is probably Tim.

It isn't just about stats, it is about wins and what that player does for their team. Brady was a MAJOR factor for the Pats winning 14 games straight during the postseason. Brady didn't have one dominate WR, so he used everyone. Brady didn't have a dominate RB who got 1,000 yards.

Bah, I am just biased because I am a Pats fan. It really doesn't matter about the Pro Bowl because Brady can just show Green, Manning and McNair the 2nd SB ring he has.
