Gert T 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 If Rashun Woods does not go at the end of the first round he is going to make some team VERY happy with the first two or three picks in round two. Teams aren't enamored because of his size, but the guy is a playmaker.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 I bet the Texans have to feel pretty shitty now. Since they gave up their second round pick this year to take Tony Hollings in the supplemental draft last summer and ended up having Dominick Davis play great. lomasmoney 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 Perry is nothing better than a 2nd round pick at best. Jackson would be Amazing with the Pats next year. Have you seen Perry play at all, he is the most complete back in the draft and suits New Englands offense. He can catch the ball out the backfield, he has size, he's a workhorse(51 carries vs Michigan State), and he can block. Jones and Jackson may be better backs in the open field and for big plays but Perry overall is the best running back on the board
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 How was the Senior Bowl? I had to go to the Chinese New Year celebration so I missed it.

Guest Flyboy Report post Posted January 25, 2004 Weren't you saying that Kevin Jones was not going to go before Perry? How quickly you changed that theory.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 I think Micheal Turner will suprise people. He'd be a nice 2nd or 3rd round choice for someone.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted January 25, 2004 Weren't you saying that Kevin Jones was not going to go before Perry? How quickly you changed that theory. He still might. All this speculation is pretty pointless until the combines in a few months. That's when stocks rise and fall.

Since they gave up their second round pick this year to take Tony Hollings in the supplemental draft last summer and ended up having Dominick Davis play great. Amen, in hindsight that looks dumb, I guess the best they can hope for is that Hollings turns out good enough to be worth that second round pick. With the lifespan of RB's in the league, it may not be bad, but does look bone-headed now. And as of right now I see Perry going third for RB's behind Jones & Jackson.
