Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Ok I'll tell my story again for those that don't know it. I was on the final episode of the Survivor Amazon. Because my dad mentioned something about wanting to watch Survivor after the tornado hit our house. So then we went to NYC for free and stayed in a 5-star hotel and were interviewed in the audience. So anyways......yeah......I'm a celebrity or something.....I should've asked them to let me on the damn show...that would've been cool.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 I seem to remember that pic of yourself surrounded by chicks -- they were rather cute. Kristen reminds me a bit of a skank that could have popped my cherry if I happened to be someone who takes advantage of sluts that get drunk and fall on top of you while you're lying down on a recliner in the backyard at a friend's party... Yeah, actually, as far as I know, that description matches one of the "cute" girls you were just complimenting. *whistles innocently and walks out of thread*
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 (edited) All the time. Either someone I know, or myself. I was on every week back when I was taking ITV classes at Carleton. A couple of years ago I got a bunch of free tickets to the 67s and made it on all the time then too. I have been on for Blue Jays games a couple of times, several news shows, and I was interviewed at the 1986 Santa Claus parade in Toronto. I grew up east of Toronto when they had the big film boom there, so several people I know became extras in films. Many of the professors I know have been on television lots, especially in Geology or Climatology. My sister used to co-op at Rogers in Oshawa. My roommate's best friend plays for the Flyers. I'm sure there is a lot I have forgotten. Edited January 23, 2004 by Kahran Ramsus
Guest macheteofodin Report post Posted January 23, 2004 I've been on the news a couple times for Tae Kwon Do. My proudest moment was closing out a segment by getting kicked in the stomach and flipped over. One of my friends hosted a college talk show/news type thing on the college station where I live (Plattsburgh State) last year before he graduated. Funny guy...he should be known nationwide. Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted January 24, 2004 I see one of my buddies almost every week, he wrestles for the local indy and their TV show in on the public access channel. I also see my best friend's step father on the news, but that's because he's the weatherman
