Who cares who the champions are? The belts don't mean sh*t, and probably never will again...

Nobody seems to feud over a title anymore, save the World Title. And when non-world title changes do happen, it always seems more like a bonus than the actual purpose of the match.

People actually cared then. The hardcore title was a joke before Van Dam had it, and is a joke now. But I think the iC matches between Guerrero and Van Dam will help restore the greatness of the IC title... as long as the WWF doesnt fuck it up as usual

Guest Mark4steamboat Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 Did anyone else here on the LAW about the wwf wanting to do a thing with a tower(forget which one, i really wasnt paying much attention) and the wrestlers having to take an elevator to each floor and having another wrestler at that floor waiting to attack? sounds good but tell me that wouldnt suck so much. wwf is starting to become more of a mockery of itself than it already is.
Guest Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 Maybe when they stop making Bubba Dance and Juggle and do comedy bits, maybe the Hardcore could be something a little more than a Joke title which it was born to be. WWF raw certainly got alot of odd balls on the roster that seems to have no place going for any other belt. Have Bossman come down beat the hell out of Bubba with a baton then mace him then beat him. Then Show come down Chokeslam him, then someone else, and someone else, in a continual Cycle. Hardcore was a unique title, where you could put it on anyone.

Guest Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 The minute someone who isn't the WWF Champion hangs onto a title for more than 2 months would really help the individual belts.... especially if its someone that the fans hate... like Angle as an example holding the IC title. If he held the IC title for like 3-4 months winning by hook or crook, and then someone is finally able to beat him I think the fans would pop huge and would go along way into promoting that it means a lot to be champion. I don't really agree with anyone holding a title for a year or anything like that. I think that almost puts an unrealistic spin on the titles too.

Possibly Brock if he ends up a heel or Lance Storm possibly as well if they do a Candian Style Horsemen with Storm, Jericho, and Christian. Of course that is assuming Nash doesn't convice to bury them because they are "Canadian Vanilla Midgets".
