some quick notes on a great great show tonight at the arena in st pete..... a very good effort tonight by the boys rewarded a packed house of well over 300 tonight in st pete as nwa florida put on its best effort to date..... VIOLENCE IS GOLDEN.....

overall a very good show that did not have many if ANY weak points.... i was a bit worried about 2 matches going in and even those two were much better than i had hoped....

 

allied forces defeated shockwave in a match that saw the two youngsters come close but were unable to defeat the aging but still capable veterans..

 

in one of my question marks...and only because lately danny doring has seemed to forego any actual wrestling in his matches and become a comedian in tight two sizes too small purple tights... lex lovett won a 3 way over doring and returning star michael shane..shane and lex looked great as usual and danny did just enough of actual wrestling to go along with his lounge act to make it a good fun match afterwards shane and lex had a beer together with danny and then danny and michael turned and laid out lovett...

 

maximum capacity overcame a game sedrick strong and reversed a crucifix attempt and dropped every bit of his 600 pounds of fun across sedricks chest for a 1 2 3...

 

jerrelle clark successfully defended his newly won nwa world jr heavyweight title against former florida unified cruiserweight champ naphtali in a very good match which saw jerrelle reverse napthalis attempt at a Death Valley Driver onto a pair of actual dvds into a burning hammer...afterwards michael shane came out and cut a promo about wanting the world jr title before he goes back to tna and takes the x title

 

billy fives made his return to the arena not to face the injured david babylon as was advertised, but as freedom ryder mike sullivan's mystery partner against their former AOD teammates roderick strong and bruce steele..an excellent match that unfortunately ended with scoot andrews interfering and hitting sully with the forces of nature and a 1 2 3 for the AOD this one is far far from over though...

 

the shane twins retained their nwa florida tag team titles over fahrenheit 420 in an entertaining match with the much smaller challengers holding their own against ron niemis monsters before getting caught with a haliburton shot to the head in front of an obviously drunk star stevens for a pinfall loss instead of a dq win.....

 

justice became #1 contender for the nwa florida heavyweight title by beating scoot andrews after mike sullivan returned the favor and laid out scoot allowing justice to be next in line for the winner of tonights match between steve madison and frankie capone...

 

madison retained his title overcoming capone as well as cannon and niemi interfering freely by catching capone with a small package after capone missed madison with a clothesline as he was being held from behind by ron niemi.... this was the other match that worried me going into tonight because of the potential style clash.. frankie and steve both had the working shoes on tonight and had a very very good match

 

the battle royal ended up in a free for all that had shockwave battling the untouchables all over the bldg including mikey batts diving 15 feet to the floor off an elevated stage and ending with rod steel and mikey tenderfoot in the ring demanding a shot at the shanes saying they will be held back by joe price no more....

 

also so cal val made her surprise return to the arena with hot ass amy love announcing she had an open contract and would be looking for a "few good men"...again a very good show that ended on a sour note with about 20-30 cars being towed out of the parking lot for no good reason costing alot of people some money and alot of aggrivation on what to that point was a wonderful birthday present from aaron royal to us all on his 33d birthday... congrats aaron and we'll see everyone else at the arena on feb 7 for the next show

Tremendous, tremendous show and one of the craziest nights of action seen in Florida in a long time. NWA Florida keeps getting bigger and better which unfortunately is a bad thing when it comes to parking but hopefully that problem will have a cure soon. Each and every one of these shows is a can't-miss, and you'd be absolutely insane not to catch them if you're even remotely in the area. I'll see everyone on the 7th.

NWA: Florida does have some good talent. Too bad im not wasting 10 hours of my life to drive down to florida. But Good to hear they had a good show. Was the crowd into it?

crowd was very into it.....until some of them found out their cars got towed........ no need to drive ten hours to catch a show though they will be released on dvd soon i am sure through highspots.com
