Jerry Lynn signs TNA contract

1Wrestling.com has learned that Jerry Lynn signed a long term contract today with TNA.

Lynn made his return to the promotion last week after a long absence. TNA had approached Lynn about making a return on the January 7 event, but Lynn had a scheduling conflict and was unable to appear.

well, it's a good thing for TNA, but do they have anything for him at all? Kid Kash? Yikes. I'd rather see him going for the world or tag titles. (yes, i like him better in a tag team)

He'll give a serious boost to the X division in terms of solid matches. I can see him eventually transitioning into a world title fued too...

I'm soundly in thr group that thinks he doesn't belong in the X division.

 

The Super X Cup really showed me that he doesn't fit in with the Sabins and Juventuds of the world.

 

He should be in the heavy division if only because he's the king of the punch kick transition.

I am with BPS. He has been exposed as someone who doesn't quite belong in the X Division today. he should be in the tag scene or even the world title scene. Rehashing the feud with AJ?

You figure they would've built him into a figure like AJ who's "above the X division" in a no longer midcard way.
