NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2004 So I have sbc yahoo dsl, and we have been hooked up with them for about a good 4 months without incident. Then all of the sudden yesterday the modem's broadband indicator light starts flashing orange which means it aint working properly. The only thing I have done to modify at all to this was when I bought a PS2 network adapter, but that involves the ethernet plug with the LAN line and it doesn't even involve plugging in/out the actual phone line. Plus the line was working just fine before and after use of the PS2 adapter the first few days I got it. Anyone have any idea what the hell is causing this? Another thing to note, the broadband interruption is intermittent, meaning it will come back on and show green for about 5 minutes at a time and then start flashing orange again, so I am not sure if there is a faulty connection but I checked all the connects inside and everything is fine. Maybe the line running out of the house got damaged or something.......Hopefully someone can help before the broadband link goes down AGAIN...ugh. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When I called sbc there was a message stating that people were having trouble getting into their email accounts and the problem should be fixed by 2:30pm. This was not EXACTLY the problem I was having but if had anything to do with the server being the problem, then I guess my problem RELATED to this sort of........so as of now everything is A-OK......
