Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted January 30, 2004 PWTorch reports that the meetings are helping morale, story gets a thread here. 1Wrestling reports that the meetings aren't helping and people are contemplating quitting, and it gets a thread here. We need to stop accepting ONE of these guys as a reliable source. I'll give the Torch the slight nod, since 1wrestling.com reports a lot more crap.

Bored 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 World class??? Yes. I think many of us can testify to that assertion. Who are these people? World Class and Lance Storm shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.
Guest DR PHIL Report post Posted January 30, 2004 And who would those four be? I mean we can all make guesses about folks that never get used like Kanyon and Ultimo Dragon, but would it even matter if they left since WWE doesn't use them anyway? RVD is the other possibility but his contract is coming up soon already right? Yeah, that's probably who it is: talent that isn't even getting used anyway. Guys on the roster who are lucky to even make Velocity/Heat. I'd say Kanyon could be one. RVD? No, he wouldn't want his release when he can just half-ass his way until the end of his contract. Ultimo wanted to be at Mania so I wouldn't say him.... Moore's at least getting to be on TV so not him... Richards--ditto. Dreamer maybe. Watch it be them, Sean O' Haire and Palumbo or something. There's a rumor that sean o'haire has been fired.
Vyce 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 O'Haire is better off in Japan or in TNA. He could do quite well for himself in Japan, the more I think about it. Especially in Zero-One or All Japan.

Ummmm.... you are talking about someone that was awesome w/ WAR in Japan, that was a multiple time tag team champion in ECW, and had 3 titles at the same time in WCW...he was given that kind of rub in WCW while they were in Vancouver and he had basically 3 months of huge storylines written around him. He has been decent in WWE but he hasn't been given anything to work with. I say that you are wrong.
Guest Deviant Report post Posted January 30, 2004 Any story as vague as the first one is clearly bullshit and has no right to be discussed or taken seriously in any way by anyone. End of story.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 You know I'm pretty sure RVD extended his contract, I heard he did. As far as the meetings go, it sounds pretty back and forth with the morale. Hearing that some of the wrestlers were upset when told more matches should be like HBK/HHH because they got what 20 minutes or more and most of the matches get 4 to 10 minutes. Quitting.....the only one who I could possibly see is Kanyon, then going to NWA and showing what the WWE missed out on.

Guest nikowwf Report post Posted January 30, 2004 I love when people say wrestlers will be better off if they go to Japan. Maybe professionally, but there is the small matter of moving to JAPAN. I speak decent japanese, and im there 2 or 3 times a year and I can safely say its not that easy a transition to LIVE there. Plus you have added travel expenses, etc. Never mind if you are married and your family is here. Comparing WWE and JAPAN on money and push alone is not equal at all. niko
