The latest in the Wayans’ piece of crap “comedies”, Scary Movie 3 is due for a May 11th release in Region 1. Thankfully for fans of the flick (all three of them) and frustratingly for those of us who have been waiting seven years for a decent DVD of Blade Runner while shit like this gets treated like royalty, the disc is pretty loaded with extras.

 

Stop if I'm wrong here, champ but the Wayan's had nothing to do with the third film in the Scary Movie frnachise. It was handled by David Zucker. Also, the flick grossed over 100 Mil, so I'd venture a guess that more than three people saw it.

 

But what do I know?

Yeah, I really could've worded that better (seeing as the sentence hardly makes sense anyway), but I meant the franchise that the Wayans started. There was a whole other paragraph that I took ranting out about the spoof flicks that they've done, but yeah, point taken.

 

As for the film's gross, I said fans of the film, not people who'd actually seen it. It's weird - over here, the film is almost universally loathed, but I've had a lot of hate mail from folks over there blasting me for daring to say it's crap. Oh well, at least The Office got two Golden Globes, I guess...
