Jack_Bauer 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2004 Well, it's about time that Scottish people started supporting a federation in the country instead of waiting untill WWE come to town to watch a bunch of sports entertainment. How about some WRESTLING. I'm gonna do a full match by match preview telling you about each wrestler. I am NOT affilated with SCW, I'm just a big fan who is impressed with the product they are creating. Main Event #1 Contender's Lumberjack Match Conscience v Sabotage Well, this match should be pretty good. Conscience got a WWE tryout in a short spell with OVW. Sabotage is a good 'big man' worker and certainly LOOKS like a superstar. Both men are VERY capable of doing a good match. The match really builds from an AWESOME match on their last show in November, when Conscience won a Royal Rumble match under a mask with the name of 'Kobayashi Marou' after being eliminated earlier in the match. SCW Champion Drew McDonald has told Conscience he won't give a title shot to Conscience. Drew is not going to be at this next show, so this match was announced. I'm a Sabotage mark so I want him to win, but I think Conscience will win. SCW King of Scotland Title Tournament 'The Pigman' Andy Hogg, Assassin, Chris Charizma & Eric 'The Fist' Canyon The brackets haven't been announced yet, so I guess we'll have to wait untill the show to find that out. Here is a look at the four guys involved. Andy Hogg : Absolutely tremendous technical wrestler. Stood out in a match with Majik on the last show. He has all of the skills it takes to win, and is my favourite in the match. Assassin : I have been to the last two shows, and on both, this guy has REALLY impressed me. He was the star of the match during the 80 minute Royal Rumble that took place. Chris Charisma : I haven't seen much of this guy, so I can't really make a judgement. All I know is that the SCW fans HATE the guy. Very good heel. Eric Canyon : HUGE fan favourite after a good showing against Drew McDonald. He is pretty good, but is probably the weak link in the tournament. Majik vs 'Dangerous' Danny Debris Okay. Majik has been in ALL sorts of special request matches. He was in a '1 or 30 Challenge' match against Andy Hogg on the last show, and also requested a match with Assassin on the 'Summer Spirit' show last year. Now, he has requested a match with Danny Debris. This is probably because we haven't seen much of Danny Debris, and the booker probably decided a match with Majik is a good choice. Not a bad idea, considering Majik is WELL over with the crowd. Majik is a former NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion and was with Conscience doing tryouts in OVW. Don't know much about Danny Debris though. Tag Team Warfare Total Annihilation, The Nattrass Boys, Harker & Parisio, The Averys Total Annihilation : They have been having fun making The Averys into their personal bitches. Averys seem to LIKE being humiliated by this team. They are a good team. Hatred is a great wrestler, but I haven't seen anything from Adam Shame to tell me that he's any good. They're the obvious favourites to win this match. The Nattrass Boys : They're supposed to be making waves in England. I wouldn't know, but I'm looking forward to seeing them again, since they weren't involved at Summer Spirit too much. Harker and Parisio : GREAT heels, although their act gets a little stale. As for their wrestling. Their okay, nothing too special. The Averys : AWESOME team, but get beaten into a pulp by TA every time they meet. They can pull some awesome stuff out when they need to. Brilliant to watch. Fly The Flag Ladder Match Saltire vs Aidan Corrigan Rules : 1. Retrieve the flag of your country. 2. Climb to the very top rung and then hold the flag above you for the win. The Buildup : The build has been very subtle between these two. Saltire made his debut on the 'Golden Harvest' show, and Aidan and his friend Stevie Reeves came in and destroyed him. They never made it to the next show, and Saltire faced Aidan's friend CJ Hunter. No real build happened in this match. When Spirits Rise, and Aidan and CJ Hunter make an assault on Saltire, and Aidan makes the challenge. Expectations : The match won't be a spotfest, that's for sure. It'll focus on the psychology, and should be match of the night. Billy Grange vs Pete "The Ref" O'Neil This is least good match of the night, but should still be fun. Both guys are VERY young, and this is a chance to improve. COME TO THE SHOW ! It'll rock, I promise, and then come to the pub afterwards Come To The Forums to have a chat with everyone that goes to the shows. Wrestlers go on as well and do promos and stuff. It's all really good.
