Who could forget the infamous Potbanger pranker? Or someone calling in and asking Roland Alexander if it was 'hot under the fat suit' he wore in Beyond the Mat. What a show. I remember listening to it like every night while I was playing Tony Hawk and not doing any homework.

The old Internet Wrestling Radio shows were awesome.

 

My guilty pleasure was WCW Live, hosted by Bob Ryder & Jeremy Borash. The best caller there was James from Kentucky.

 

Live Audio Wrestling has their gimmick callers too....the best one being the Hogan fan who does nothing but put down Benoit, Jericho, and Angle.

James in KY was great on WOL too. I remember him trying to give Meltzer the 'Dynamite Dave' nickname. It got so bad that he was banned from the show, leading him to call one of eYada's advice shows. The host tried to help him, but Al (Observer Live's producer) called in and completely owned him. He ended with him saying something like "We hate you. WCW Live hates you. You're a god awful caller"

 

Does anyone know if Al still produces the show?

 

Alex in Puerto Rico was the man. He'd call from a payphone and ask if Savio Vega was going to join the Alliance.
