TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I just wanted to know if anyone had heard about TNA's plan for Xplosion once it starts on Sunshine Network. Will they continue to just do squash matches and recaps? I think they should try to have a least one "marquee" match to draw people to the show. Maybe a mid-card match or even a once-in-a-while X Division or Tag Title Match to main event the show. The rest could squashes, but I think they should use it to try to let people develop characters and shoot angles to build to the next PPV event. Then they could not have Jarrett talking for 30 mins to start every week. Just do a recap like "last week on Xplosion, Jarrett and Callis set up these matches." Might even make some regular PPV buyers check out Xplosion the next week.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted February 7, 2004 I wish I knew who the non-TNA people were. They have a habit of not introducing them, and Tenay/West usually talk about the TNA people and rarely drop the other guy/girls name.
TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 I think they should have a least one match of all "TNA Regulars" to draw viewers to the show. But I did like that they had AJ and AMW work the first show on Sunshine Network, since they are TNA's biggest homegrown stars.

I doubt a company would put top stars on a show syndicated for ther debut in 1 new market.

I doubt a company would put top stars on a show syndicated for ther debut in 1 new market  Because of the Direct TV clearance, I doubt TNA is viewing the Sunshine Network as just 1 new market. They didn't send out press releases for any of the other clearances of Xplosion.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 1. Xplosion should change anyway. Â 2. Sunshine Network airs all over.
Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 The only new area they picked up was Florida. Â They are not picking up anything new with DirecTV as if you have DirecTV and get Sunshine, then you already got the Empire Sports Network that airs Xplosion. Guest JustinCredible2k Report post Posted February 8, 2004 I got Time Warner Cable and I got the Fox Sports Package I never know when it comes on because it is never listed on the menu. I dont know why.
Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 They are picking up everyone with the Fox Sports Package. If you're talking about the sports pack on DirecTV (made up of primarily fox sports stations), then if anyone had that sports pack, they could already see xplosion on Empire (channel 626) as that is part of the sports pack and has carried xposion for months now. tpww7 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 No, I'm talking about the Fox sports digital package avaliable across the country on all digital cable. Not the POS DirectTV.
Guest TDinDC1112 Report post Posted February 9, 2004 No, I'm talking about the Fox sports digital package avaliable across the country on all digital cable. Not the POS DirectTV. I get 3 times the channels with DirecTV than I do with Adelphia Cable for $40 less a month. I also get WWE PPV's for less money because they offer deals, and I've never had a problem. A POS DirecTV is not.
