Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I don't have enough money right now for both, so I can only pick one. Which one should I pick? Let's compare: Stone Cold Truth: Focused on One person Good Fluff piece Seen Fluff piece 6 matches 28 special features 4 Easter Eggs More Than 3 hours Just Bought Stone Cold DVD(Cause Stone Cold Said So) Monday Night War: Focused on many people in two organizations Haven't seen Fluff piece 4 matches(probably better) 13 special features No Easter Eggs(known as of right now) Only 3 hours
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I would go for the Monday Night Wars. If only to see WWE revisionist history at work. Is one of the matches on that Austin and HBK vs. Owen and Bulldog? Or was that a different DVD?

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 5, 2004 What are the matches on each Stone Cold DVD if somebody doesn't mind listing them? I've been wondering this for awhile and haven't been able to find a listing...only a price and "Add to Cart" option, blah

Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Which are full matches and which DVD is that off of?
Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted February 5, 2004 They come out on the 10th but I've seen WWE DVDs at FYE the Friday before they're supposed to be out.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I'm not sure about all of the six(?) matches but I remember a few: Austin/Pillman vs Flair/Anderson - 2/3 falls tag match Austin vs Mickey Whipwreck from ECW Austin's debut WWF match as "The Ringmaster" That's all the matches I've heard about. And in response to the question which to buy: Personally I'm getting both, but the MNW DVD seems better overall.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Wow, I want both of these then, AND the Foley DVD that I have yet to buy. Is this the last round of awesome WWE DVDs for a while?
Guest FrigidSoul Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Austin/Pillman vs Flair/Anderson - 2/3 falls tag match That alone makes it worth the purchase. I'll deffinately have to look into picking it up when I get the money and its in a store near me.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 5, 2004 I'm going to throw my vote at Austin's DVD. The Austin/McMahon segments turn the tide for me.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Wow, I want both of these then, AND the Foley DVD that I have yet to buy. Is this the last round of awesome WWE DVDs for a while? Kurt Angle DVD in March. Rumored 3-disc WMXX DVD in April. Divas in Mexico DVD some time after that.
Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted February 5, 2004 That 3-Disc Wrestlemania 20 DVD should include a collection of the top 10 wrestlemania matches. And if it doesn't have any matches, I'm going to turn into the Swamp Thing!
Fökai 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 Wow, I want both of these then, AND the Foley DVD that I have yet to buy. Is this the last round of awesome WWE DVDs for a while? Not yet...they'll keep going with Angle's DVD and Wrestlemania XX due out in March and April, respectively. Don't know what's in the planning stages for post-Mania, though. Fökai 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2004 ...and to answer the question, it'd be the MNW DVD, simply because the Flair promo from Greensboro (09.14.98) is on there. Both DVD's are worth the purchase, though. I would go for the Monday Night Wars. If only to see WWE revisionist history at work. Actually, reviews have stated that the DVD does a great job of balancing credit for the success between WCW and WWE.
geniusMoment 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2004 These are both good dvd's but why didn't they go all out and make them 2 dvd or 3 dvd sets. I am still waiting for WWE to take full advantage of their library. Imagine an Austin dvd with: Austin/Hart SurSer Austin/Foley from raw (best raw match of 1996) Austin/Hart Mania Canadian Stampede main event Austin and HBK/Owen and Bulldog Austin and Dude/Bulldog and Owen (Dude's debut) Austin/Owen Summerslam Then add in all of his post neck injury stuff as well as all of his WCW stuff and that would easily be my favorite DVD ever. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2004 Definitely MNW.
