Nicole Kidman To Star In Bewitched

 

It's official...

 

Nicole Kidman is set to star in Bewitched, the movie version of the classic TV show. Nora Ephron (Sleepless In Seattle) is set to direct.

 

Will Ferrell will also star in the film as a mortal man married to a witch. Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing the project.

I still don't like Will Ferrel as Darren. Hopefully he can tone down his over the top comedy style and prove me wrong.

Yeah, he'd be a better Uncle Arthur or Major Heily when then do the I Dream of Jeannie Movie. I really don't know who would make a good Darren these days. Tim Allen maybe.

Jim Carrey always struck me as perfect for Darren in a movie adaption.

 

Will Farrell would be more suitable as Larry Tate.

I kinda wish they would do a two Darren thing during the movie. Like for example Will Farrell is Darren during the 1st half of the movie and they have Darren talking to Sam and they pan away from Darren and when the camera pans back to him Darren is played by Jim Carrey and the movie just goes on.

Oh right, Hollywood ran out of original ideas about ten years ago.

 

Farrell should be perfect as Darren, since he's not funny at all.
