True and False with....

Recommended Posts

Guest Dynamite Kido

Statement #1:

You're a better lover than you are a fighter.

John Cena: True. I'm a much better lover. I'll XXX when it comes down to it, but I do my work between the sheets.

Dr. Tom Prichard: True. I'd much rather spend time lovin' than fightin'.

Statement #2:

John Cena will win the WWE Championship in 2004.

John Cena: True. You're gonna see gold, I don't know...I gotta check myself.

Dr. Tom: True. John Cena has all the tools to be the man, but timing is everything. He's progressed pretty fast in WWE and if he stays healthy there's no reason why 2004 can't be his year to win the big one.

Statement #3:

Wannabe Superstars are wasting their time if they're training somewhere other than OVW.

John Cena: False. I can't agree with that because I didn't get my start in OVW. Everybody's gotta start somewhere, and if you've got the heart and drive, you're gonna make it.

Dr. Tom: I don't know about wasting their time, but I have not seen anyplace that matches the quality of coaching and mentoring found in OVW.

Statement #4:

Wannabe Superstars should go to college before pursuing the business.

John Cena: That's a personal preference. College education is almost essential nowadays, but there are a lot of people without college who are success stories.

Dr. Tom: I always heard it was a good idea to have something to "fall back on" but I didn't go to college. I seemed to fall on my face, but I kept getting up!

Statement #5:

Besides wrestling, college football is the most exciting sport.

John Cena: False, pro football is. Pro football has become much more entertaining. College limits the players on what they can do, and there's a lot more entertainment value in the pros.

Dr. Tom: False. Hockey can be pretty exciting. Especially in the minor leagues where the guys are playing more for the "love of the game" as opposed to a big money contract.

Which may be true until they're sent up to wwe and stuck into a vanilla jobber gimmick.

With a good finisher like... the sit-down powerbomb.
