Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 18, 2004 I think I'll keep that recomendation to avoid in mind. Aside from the Tajiri/Crazy match up I can't really see much point in buying it. Nice review though and the advice certainly seem solid enough
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted February 19, 2004 I've also seen Tajiri and Crazy do a lot better, against each other in ECW.
IWD 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 This was actually the first ECW I ever saw. As a newbie to the company, it made me interested enough to seek out more.

Oh I know that much, those two have put on some great matches together, but not all of their early work is bad. I'd probably download that match if I could find it just to have a look at it. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted February 19, 2004 I always did enjoy the Tajiri/Crazy matches in ECW. Some are a lot more spotty than the others, but there were a few times where they went out and wrestled a pretty good match. But IMHO they really had these two hook it up WAY too many times. Michrome 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2004 I never really liked their matches too much, they were always so formulaic. Start with a couple gymnastic sessions, and move right to the big spots and kick spots. I've never seen one that I would consider in the upper tier of Juniors matches. Like I said above, I DID like some of their matches, but they are nowhere near the top tier of the Jr. matches.
Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 19, 2004 Oh of course they weren't top Junior matches, but for what they were they were fun to watch. Crazy setting the stage for Guido for getting his head kicked in
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted February 20, 2004 I don't remember their Mexican death match on TNN that well (supposedly their best), but my favorite is one they had in Toledo or Dayton (same show that Dudleyz put Spike through flaming table). Tajiri just went totally stiff on him, and spiking him with a brain buster, the fans were like in total shock (and so was I)
Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Yeah i think I've seen that match, the first time I saw it I remeber it made me sit straight up in my chair because I thought he'd caved in Crazy's head. I have to wonder if crazy ever objected to some of the sheer stiffness that Tajiri hit him with, that being said I've seen him give Takiri a few good wacks of his own in past shows.
