Guest Miss Indy Queen Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 credit: pwinsider.com PWInsider The Second Mid-Atlantic Legends convention will take place in Greensboro, North Carolina Thanksgiving weekend Friday 11/26-Sunday 11/28. The plan is to mix new names in with names that appeared at the original convention earlier this month over a three day period. The original convention was a tremendous hit, drawing over 1,000 fans in Charlotte, North Carolina with Magnum TA, Masked Superstar, Ron Garvin, Greg Valentine, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Dory Funk Jr., Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton, Jimmy Valiant, Sir Oliver Humperdink, George Scott, Johnny Weaver, Buddy Landel, Bobby Fulton, Don & Rocky Kernodle, Tommy Young, Jim Nelson, George South, Gary Royal, Bob Caudle, David Crockett, Les Thatcher, Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, The Rock N' Roll Express, Tully Blanchard, JJ Dillon, Jimmy Garvin, Ivan Koloff, Tony Atlas, Penny Banner, Tommy Angel, David Isley, and Gene Ligon among others appearing. I really wish they would have reconsidered Thanksgiving weekend because I can't really see the big turnout they had for it the first time. I know I won't be able to make this one and I was really looking forward to it.
Slingshot Suplex Posted February 20, 2004 Report Posted February 20, 2004 Yeah ....the holiday could really affect fan turnout and wrestler participation. I'm going to try to go now that I have a lot more advance notice of a date this time. It might be tricky if I'm still at my current job.
