Guest Jimbo Report post Posted February 20, 2004 He came up in a conversation the other day. I heards he was in the Super 8 finals a few years back and wrestles in Canada...and that's all I know. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Guest Markingout Report post Posted February 20, 2004 His nickname is "showtime". He did make it too the ECWA Super 03' finals. He can work the mat and can take it too the air. He won over his fans at the Super 8,but still worked heel so I am assuming he is heel. I think his finisher is like a moonsault into a back DDT,but sit out and not landing on his feet like Styles. Thats all I know.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2004 Beckett's really f'n good. He's nicknamed "Mr. Showtime" and trained in the Hart Dungeon for awhile and spent mopst of his timee in NWA Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling in Canada and held their heavyweight, tag team, Canadian junior heavyweight, and junior hevyweight titles, and also the NCWA tag title. He feuded with Scotty Mac, Bryan Danielson, Adam Firestorm, and Tony Kozina, and had a breakout night at the 2003 ECWA Super 8. He suffered a really sick gash on his chin and he was bleeding all night, but he made it to the finals and lost to Paul London. He's kinda a combo of CM Punk, Matt Stryker, and Chris Daniels in terms of style. His finishers are: - The Chance Encounter (Quebrada into Inverted DDT) (like AJ Styles) - *Phat Chance (Inverted Texas Cloverleaf)* He also uses a Backflip Kick, Leaping Somersault Neckbreaker, Neckbreaker, Rolling Butterflies into a Double Underhook DDT, and a regular Slap. Michrome 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 If he's really f'n good, I've clearly seen the wrong stuff. His RoH work was awful, as were his Super 8 matches. I haven't seen anything since that though, so tell me what I need to see.

Guest ToddRoyal Report post Posted February 21, 2004 And his ROH "work" was only one match, so that's not really fair to judge him on.
Michrome 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Yes, but it was terrible. None of the Super 8 matches were really very good at all. I didn't think it was possible for someone to have less charisma than Chad Collyer, but Chance pulls it off. It looked like he was taking a wrestling technique test, and trying to get an A, instead of, you know, putting a good match together. Part of the reason 2003 Super 8 wasn't even close to the Super 8 of year's past was his advancement.
