WrestlingDeacon 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 Back then having a special referee was a big thing and a crowd popping portion of those matches would be when the ref finally had enough and get physically involved. See, the point of having the special ref was that the match was going to be so big and so violent that a regular referee couldn't handle it, you needed a "special enforcer."
