Guest HartFan86 Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 I know you guys think of a lot of....weird.....stuff, but what the HELL is this "INTENSE" stuff? I keep seeing it and now I find myself laughing my ass off at the guy with the HHH banner that says "INTENSE."
Guest Mik at Cornell Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 JR uses it to describe HHH and it got ran into the ground here about 2 weeks ago. So by logic alone expect to hear it for another 2 months.
Guest Posted April 23, 2002 Report Posted April 23, 2002 The scene: Any ppv Triple H has been involved in in the last three years *Camera cuts to locker room. Someone's taping up Triple H's wrists. He's breathing through his nose, his nostils are flaring and he's kinda squinting. He storms off.* J.R.: "King, Would you lokk atthe intensity on the face of the Game? I don't think I've ever seen him this intense!!!Er, King?" King: "Sorry, J.R, I was looking at his puppies."
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 Some people think it is funny or something. I have no idea why.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 Dreamer, you just don't "get" Hunter's INTENSITY~! In fact, so many people misunderstand the INTENSITY~! and think that his INTENSE~! matches are actually sucky matches. But we know the difference.
Guest Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 Stupid question related to HHH, so I figured I'd throw it in HHH's INTENSE thread... What is the deal with "HGH"? I'm lost.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 HGH=Human Growth Hormone. It's a steroid
Guest muswp1 Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 It stands for Human Growth Hormone, another word for steroids. A ton of wrestlers "alledgely" take them to get bigger. HHH has been long accused of taking them as have several others. Hogan was the worst in the 80's and there was a huge trial involving Vince being arrested in 1994 and having the book thrown at him by the overzealous FBI which resulted in Vince throwing the book back at them because the FBI moved way too fast and had virtually no evidence and looked like complete moron in court when several of the wrestlers that testified against McMahon either fell apart or told stories that helped neither side.
Guest Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 the idiot who played Nailz ruined the trial when he said he hated vince when he was testifying againist him.
Guest Special K Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 For me, the whole INTENSE, knuckle-dragging entrance works, but his grunting promos don't work as a face. He was so damn funny back in the DX days, he should inject some of that into his character now. The original Game character worked because he was angry and bitter because of the glass ceiling (storyline-wise) One of the only things I'll agree with Lawler now is "why is he so angry?" He was constantly pissed off even when everything was going his way. Didn't make much sense to me.
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Some people think it is funny or something. I have no idea why. Neither do I, Dreamer; neither do I. Dreamer, you just don't "get" Hunter's INTENSITY~! In fact, so many people misunderstand the INTENSITY~! and think that his INTENSE~! matches are actually sucky matches. But we know the difference. *Sighs. Beats AS into a puddle with teeth.*
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Add me to the list of people are sick and tired of hearing about Hunter's "intensity" 24/7. This shit has been going on since January, 3 months later, and the SAME idiots keep on abusing it and ruining decent threads by turning them into EVEN MORE Triple H hate bullshit. I don't like the guy either, but SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY! We get the fucking point already. You don't like Hunter, but ENOUGH'S ENOUGH! It's bad enough that Angleslut has a following of mindless sheep to repeat this all the time, but now we get Angleslut Jr. who beats all of the same shit into the ground like Angleslut Sr. beats his meat to Kurt mooning everybody on Smackdown.

Man, you took the words right out of my mouth. In the words of the immortal Owen Hart, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, AND IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!!"

Guest The Man in Blak Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Oh, how cute. I didn't even realize that you had your own little "world order". That's neat-o.
Guest Goodear Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 You know, I have absolutely no problem with anyone saying that something or someone sucks. None. But when its said the same way everytime, it really gets extremely boring. Where's the variety of different "I hate Hunter" sentiments? Thats what I would like to know.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 But when its said the same way everytime, it really gets extremely boring. People use the same tired shit to explain why he is bombing.

Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 wow hey! which of us is anglesault jr.? i'd rather be anglesault than cunnysmith. yes we have a world order. sorry for having fun we'll stop immediatly.
Guest AM The Kid Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Man, this thread is soooo INTENSE!
Guest caboose Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 The aWo is just one big running joke so I don't get why people don't get it or like it.
Guest AM The Kid Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 WHOOO...*sigh*....I wanna have fun
Guest Goodear Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 But when its said the same way everytime, it really gets extremely boring. People use the same tired shit to explain why he is bombing. Not as over as the WWF would hope? Yep. Bombing? No. Triple H is not the same worker he was before his injury and layoff, but he is also working a face style where he has to be quicker than he was as methodical heel HHH. He still garners good reactions from the crowds, but not to the level of Rock, Hogan and Austin. Considering the company, thats not exactly a horrible place to be but he should be better if he's going to carry the Undisputed Title... but he's not doing that anymore. The larger problem the federation needs to fix is getting more heels over so they can stand on the same plateau as the big three and 3/4. Angle is just about there, I don't think Jericho & Taker are ever going to get there, and there's a tremendus drop off to the next set of guys. Brock needs time to build into the role, the nWo is in a sad state of affairs, and Booker has face written all over him. If the WWF is going to do its best, it needs to balance the scales.
Guest Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Triple H is not the same. He's built so much muscle he can't even move as good as Hogan in the ring.
Guest Goodear Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 Triple H is not the same. He's built so much muscle he can't even move as good as Hogan in the ring. Uhhh, no. You are aware are enough bad real things you could say about Triple H that you don't have to make things up to the point of insanity?
Guest The Man in Blak Posted April 25, 2002 Report Posted April 25, 2002 The aWo is just one big running joke so I don't get why people don't get it or like it. It's a running joke with no punchline.
