Hehehe... most people who come in here with dial-up are 56k. But since I live in Pacifica (home of CRASH HOLLY!!!) with its getto 40 year old phone lines I can't connect above 28.8. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted April 26, 2002 Ok, i will try to explain how tony and i got so many posts. When the board switched over from the ezboard, tony, bps and I were on this board ALOT. We spent most of our time in the WWF thread. School had not started yet and since I had other people to continue conversations with, it was really simple to post a shitload during one day or night (esp. with a cable modem). Tony received a shitload of his posts from the sentence association thread and word association thread in the general chat folder. He also made it a point to respond to most topics in the WWF folder. I did not catch on so early but when I became bored with the WWF and stopped posting in this folder as frequently, I discovered other folders such as the music and general chat folders. If I was playing a game, or writing a paper for school, or just surfing the net, I would shoot in the word association, or the defunct wrestler name game, sentence association, the if-then thread, and other mindless pass-away-the-time threads. It was an easy way to pass the time with guys like SomeGuy, Big LargeMchuge, tony, and others. Once tony became a mod, he stopped posting as frequently but is able to modify his post count so his post count really doesn't mean anything anymore. With his powers, Tony can adjust his post count to whatever number he likes or someone can do it for him (am I wrong Tony?). So if post counts matter, then go to the general chat thread and pass the time away. Call it post whoring or whatever, but really, since this forum has its own community, it is really just a decent way of passing time when you're bored, stressed, or excited about the latest RAW or ppv. As for Angle not being as funny a sportscaster, I can see him not being funny in "real life" because he's not totally in character in real-life. As for who writes for who and blah blah blah Edge sucks, it's not unheard of for a writer/director/song-writer whatever to put out lesser-quality work because they need the money or don't have the proper time or vision to work with it.
