Guest nikowwf Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Who on the board is going to mania? I just got 3 and are going. Section 315....any others going too? niko
TheBostonStrangler Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I'm going by myself, somewhere in the 3rd row of the 400's. It'll be fun.
ChrisMWaters Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Right here. Section 73, Row D, Seat 1. ...whatever that means. Never been to MSG before.
Guest NitroJMS Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 I'm going also, upper deck somewhere, can't remember exactly.
Guest nikowwf Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 It sounds like you are in the seats right off the floor. (Not a folding chair, a real seat) Its a pretty good seat if its not floor. Floor seats are only ok if you are tall enough to see...im short, so 15 rows of people in front of me at the same level is a bad bad thing. niko
JustJoe2k5 Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Has there been any confirmed length for WrestleMania? Is it going to be the normal three hours or extended as earlier reports were indicating, I haven't heard anything about that in a while.
bob_barron Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Wrestlemania is going to last 5 hrs. I'm going- got a seat somewhere in the 100s
Guest JRE Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 Section 95. Is anyone else going to the Brunch?
cbacon Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 About New York, i'm 21 while my friend is 20, so will he have a hard time getting into bars, ordering drinks etc. or are they lenient with the age thing and/or Canadian visitors?
pochorenella Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'll be at section 94, Row M, seat 7. Pretty terrific seats, I believe. Hope to meet some of you guys, exchange some thoughts on the show. I remember a thread about posters meeting before/after the show, any truth?
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I'll be somewhere ringside for this one - not sure exactly where as I won't know until WWE gives me my tickets on the Friday before the show. JRE - I also have tickets to the brunch.
cawthon777 Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Section 13, Row A, Seats 4 and 5 - first row above the floor.
Guest Duncan Eternia Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I will be there, nosebleeds though.
Guest nikowwf Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 NY is not lenient with ID these days. Good luck. And the show looks like its 4 hours 15 minutes or so. I don't know where the 5 hours is coming from...it looks like 7 to 11 with the 11 to 11:30 set up for possible overrun. 5 Hours would be part of the second showing of the PPV. niko
Guest Miss Indy Queen Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Right here. Section 73, Row D, Seat 1. ...whatever that means. Never been to MSG before. Those are called Lodge Level seats. Like Niko said, it's not on the floor, but it's the first level up of the elevated seats at the garden. I'm in section 75 so i'm directly to the side of the ring which means you're around that area as well. Usually for ppv's around section 16 is where they have the guys come through, so people in the 90's section are directly across from the ring. They haven't "officially" announced how long Wrestlemania will be but last night during raw, they aired a commercial for Wrestlemania at the MSG with a "special bell time of 7pm". So I would assume the show will go until at least 11. As for the question about bars and ID, they are pretty strict in the city about ID's. I don't know if I would chance it considering that bouncers can be pricks in the city about things like this or even fake ID's.
Guest nikowwf Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Yep, bouncers are total pricks lately. I'm 31, i look 31, and i got such shit this weekend trying to get into bars. My wife looks about 18, and she gets carded unmercifully. And we HAVE id. niko
cbacon Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 The nosebleeds at MSG really arn't all that bad though right?
Guest nikowwf Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Its not that bad, but you are far from the ring. But you will have a clear view. (No poles or anything.) For a house show I wouldn't bother in the 400's. For this event I think its worth it just to be there. niko
