Guest NoCalMike Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 This match had everything you want in a match. Everyone was over on one level or another. The match actually got a decent amount of time. The working was just fine. This is the first time in weeks, maybe even months that I haven't sleep-walked my way through a match on Raw. Kudos, to whoever booked this match, and I hope to see more like it in the future.....
Guest AM The Kid Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 It was a very good match and so was the womens match. Great buildup for each. Raw was good last night, alright matches, good buildup to fueds. Too bad they didn't do this last week, then the pay per view would be worth watching.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Is there going to be a Spike/Regal rematch at the ppv? I don't know how I feel about it...but I can watch it.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Eddy/RVD is at least **** for Sunday. If not, it'll be a dissapointment. That just tells you how good this could be.
Guest Brian Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Regal and Eddie have an excellent heel chemistry. Regal's almost fit for these TV tag matches where he can come in and out because most people won't like his offense and style but he can hit the big spots in these types of things, especially with two guys who are willing to bump. Spike vs. Regal if Spike gets in a decnt amount of offense, but Regal still controls the pace like in RVD/Regal, should be good though definately not as exciting.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 I'm figuring Lesnar may do something during a Spike/Regal rematch that will end up getting him a match and/or a feud with Spike who retains the belt in the rematch. Well that is if WWF is wanting to elevate the Euro title. It also depends on if WWF wants a belt on Lesnar sooner rather then later. But i wouldn't be surprised to see Lesnar make a murder scene out of Lil Spike at some point during the rematch either on heat or the actual PPV.
Guest cabbageboy Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 In the original post you also forgot that: 1. Eddie hit his finish on Spike to win, but not on RVD....therefore leaving the audience wanting to see what happens at the PPV. 2. Regal pulled Eddie out as RVD was going for his frog splash, thus leaving the audience wanting to see the match at the PPV.
