GONY is worth watching just for Daniel Day Lewis... he's AMAZING in that film... too bad the rest of the movie doesnt hold up.

Oh he was awesome. My only complaint was the "final" gang fight -- it was a bit of a letdown for me. Otherwise I really dug it...

I loved it when it first came out... saw it in the theater and have sense about 3 times on dvd... it's a great effort, but what ruins the movie for me is DiCaprio... he's not horrible, but he's obviously not in Lewis's league

I didn't mind Leo that much. And I forgot that one chick was Diaz for most of the movie. Is the commentary any good?...

I havent watched it all the way through with commentary, but I've watched about half of it, and it isnt bad... Scorsese is pretty interesting to listen to
