Matt Young 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2004 I picked it up last year when it was $5.99 at Best Buy. It's brilliant. It has to be one of the best rock albums I've heard in years. DCMaximo 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2004 I think it's awesome. I bought their first album in June and thought it was great, but the "Deja Entendu" is even better. "Gloria Sic Transit" is quite wonderful and the rest is also fantastic. If it wasn't for the existance of Jonah Matranga, Brand New would be my favourite emo stars. At first glance (or listen) it's easy to try to group bands together like that, but if you listen to the whole album I doubt you'll feel the same way. Listen to songs like 'The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot' or 'Tommy Gun' and I think it will be hard to make Taking Back Sunday/Thursday comparisons. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
