I never dropped mine.

I've been a console owner since the NES. I've had an NES, Gameboy, SNES, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance SP, Xbox and PS2...

and only one ever died on me.

It died on a lot of people in the same way too. There was a big "it won't play blue back disc" problem.

Mine is about a year old now and it still works just fine.

Then again I never dropped it.

And I KNEW that Gates and Co. were going to fuck this up somehow. A system that in some ways was better than the PS2, I just knew they would screw this up in some fashion.

I love my PS2, even though I would love a GC and an XBox just for certain games.
