Bruce Blank 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 I've never seen Bash '91, but I refuse to believe that it's the worst pay-per-view ever. I mean I'm sure it's pretty bad, but there's no way it's worse than say, Road Wild '98Yeah it is - Road Wild = Having a tooth pulled without drugs Bash '91 - having all your teeth pulled without drugs... using a rusty plier... and Isaak Yankeem as your dentist... and you get a $100,000 bill for it afterwards. When the last match is Rick Steiner & Missy Hyatte Vs Arn Anderson & Paul E. in a cage it beats any WCW or WWE PPV (I'm willing to accept that "Heroes of Wrestling" could be worse - I've never seen it)

Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2006 You must have a commercial copy of GAB 90 cuz there were a few matches on the broadcast that seemed to not make it to the tape. Not that they were worth it mind you. A very slow Harley Race match, Doug Furnas against I THINK Dutch Mantel, and Pillman match none of which were very good. But you got it right about the rest of the card even if it was a bit underwhelming at the time. I had a friend give me that tape that he recorded directly from the PPV back in 90, and none of those matches are on my copy. Good review, Si. GAB 90 is still one of my all-time favorite PPVs.
