Guest Brian Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 The Low Down Triple H and Austin have some kind of mini-feud going backstage, probably from the NWO thing but my memory is failing me right now, and I think IIRC Rock was like the only person to defend Austin, at least publicly. I'm pretty sure that's how it went down from a really layman's perspective, if I can find the details I'll bring the content.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Okay thanks Brian. I eally can't blame Rocky for being disillusinioned with wrestling at this point.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 HHH souldn't feel upset...he should feel guilty.
Guest Brian Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 That was a good one bps Oh. You were serious. Sorry.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I wonder how long it will be before HHH wants to make a movie.
Guest Risk Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I wonder how long it will be before HHH wants to make a movie. AHHH!
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Do I think HHH almost literally books the shows himself during pillow talk with Steph? No I do not. Do I think he tries to push his programs more than any other wrestler during the booking meetings. Yes. But what wrestler wouldn't. Not only does he try to get his programs pushed, but they get pushed. And as far as I can tell, he is the only wrestler who attends. Would the other wrestlers do it if they could? Yes, but that doesn't make it right.
Guest mastermind Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Triple H just sounds guilty to me or maybe he feels he needs to attack someone because he was attacked for his comments on Jericho. Nah, too ridiculous of a theory. However, Triple H theories are everywhere right?
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I think eventually someone will get their "leave" from the WWF and will let all the dirt out. It's just bound to come, especially if one of those names is someone who HHH has been bashing in production meetings which is a horrible thing. I hope Stephanie breaks up with HHH.
Guest alfdogg Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I wonder how long it will be before HHH wants to make a movie. That would be one INTENSE movie!
Guest notJames Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 The more I read about the Rock's ultimate move away from wrestling, the more I'm actually starting to like him as a person. As much as I'm not a fan of his wrestling, he's undoubtedly pretty entertaining, and I hope he does well in his movie career. Of course, it will be wrestling's loss to see him go, considering the fanbase he has. Consider also the slide in ratings for Smackdown. Maybe it's not totally because he wasn't there, but it's undeniable that it was a major part. Regardless, i hope he does well whatever he does, because he seems like an upstanding guy. And people like him don't deserve to be saddled with all the politicking that goes on behind the wrestling curtain, whether it's HHH or not. Of course, Hollywood is a hotbed of backstage politics too, but at least you don't get hit with a chair... at least not too often...
Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Triple H just sounds guilty to me or maybe he feels he needs to attack someone because he was attacked for his comments on Jericho. Nah, too ridiculous of a theory. However, Triple H theories are everywhere right? When did he attack Jericho? What did the asshole say? Which probably won't be for awhile, since Rock is gonna be out all summer and will probably never be a full time wrestler again, since he just signed a contract w/ Universal studios to do X amount of films. How much is that for and how many films? i got to catch that interview on unscripted. he was great, very articulate and seemed completely honest. When is it on again? Same with his Leno interview. I missed both.
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Ghast, I think on Off the Record HHH said something to the effect that Jericho was not in his league.
Guest Kinetic Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 It was more along the lines of him saying that Jericho is not quite established as a main eventer yet, which is true. He also acknowledged that it took him more than one shot to be completely established, whereas guys like Rock and Austin just clicked and were there without question.
Guest Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 I can't wait until a year or two from now, when some of these guys in the WWf get released and they start doing RFshoots, Onlines shoots and even Magazine interviews. Then we will get some "real" dirt. Hasn't Shamrock & Roaddog talked shit about Triple H after they left the WWF?
Guest caboose Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 The problem with waiting for wrestlers to leave is that the big names, Austin, Taker, Rocky etc, who know most of what goes on backstage are all unlikely to badmouth the WWF. If Hugh Morrus(just an example) comes out and disses Triple H, it's not going to carry as much wieght as if Austin leaves and says Triple H ran the show.
