DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Every time i try and play Freddy vs Jason on my DVD-Rom with the InterActual Player, I get this message: Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem What should I do?
MrRant 0 Report post Posted March 13, 2004 Check your display settings. What is the resolution and color depth (16-bit, 32-bit) etc? If at 32 you may need to back it off to 16 or if your resolution is too hight you may need to back that off as well.

Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted March 15, 2004 Do you have any other DVD playing software installed on your computer? The reason I'm asking is because InterActual, Real Player, and Windows Media Player will all "play" DVD's but they do not have the DVD CODECs with them. If you have PowerDVD, or WinDVD installed at the same time, they will use those CODECS to read and play your DVD. If you have another DVD player installed (like the one the likely would have come with your DVD drive and/or computer) try using that program. If you don't have another DVD player installled, then that's why you're getting the error in InterActual.
